Candy Cane Christmas


Supplies: 

  PSP XII
  PTU Tube used is called "Christmas 3" by Ralph Macrey and can be purchased HERE
  PTU scrap kit used is called "Santa Hat" by Liquis Scraps and can be purchased HERE  
  Mask used is mask "8-88" by Brutal Designs and can be found HERE
  Font used is "Bitch Slap" which is a FTU font ( I get all my FTU fonts at 1001 Free Fonts)

**This tutorial is written with the understanding that the user has a good working knowledge of psp and the usage of it's various tools.**

Let's Begin:

Open a new work space 700 X 500
Flood fill white
Paste Paper 1 as a new layer
Apply your mask of choice
Paste Tree as a new layer
Resize 95%
Paste your tubed image as a new layer
Resize as needed
Place to the right
Paste Fireplace as a new layer
Resize 76%
Place behind the tree and to the left
Paste Presents as a new layer
Resize 31%
Place at the bottom right under the tubed image layer
Paste Sack as a new layer
Resize 46%
Place at the bottom right
Paste Sleigh as a new layer
Image, Mirror
Resize 56%
Place at the bottom left
Paste Ornaments as a new layer
Resize 20%
Place at the bottom middle
Paste Nutcracker as a new layer
Resize 41%
Place at the bottom left under the sleigh layer
Paste Lights as a new layer
Resize 46%
Place at the top of the fireplace
Paste Bear as a new layer
Resize 34%
Place at the bottom left
Paste Jingle Bell as a new layer
Resize 23%
Place at the bottom left
Paste Candy 1 as a new layer
Resize 138%
Place to the left
Send under everything
In your layer palette lower the opasity to 27
Duplicate
Image, Mirror
X out the white background
Merge Everything
Adjust, Sharpen
Apply the appropriate © and watermark as desired
Save as a png for a transparent background

Let's Begin:

Open a new workspace 700 X 500
Flood fill white
Paste Paper 2 as a new layer
Apply your mask of choice
Open the template
Delete the © layer
Either flood fill or paste papers into the various shapes
Tick the inside of the left square with your magic wand
Paste the face of your tubed image as a new layer
Selections, Invert, Delete
Selections, Select None
Lower the opasity of the image to 36 in your layer palette
Repeat these steps for the other square
Merge the template layer
Copy and paste into your masked workspace as a new layer
Resize 91%
Close the template workspace you are done with it
Paste your tubed image as a new layer
Resize as needed
Place in the center

Place at the top of the left square

Place at the top of the other square
